Lotus Lanterns

Mine is on the left, Kendra’s is on the right.

A week or so ago, Kendra and I went to the Confucius Center to learn how to create these amazing and easily made lotus lanterns.

Once there, not only did we learn how to make these awesome lotuses, but we learned a bit about them. The Chinese use these in a lot of their foods for nutrients and healing properties. Also, the Chinese send these lanterns down the river with a wish attached to them, hoping it comes true.

These little guys are easily made. If you want to make one, come see me.
